Stella Werther is a Design Management professional focused on advancing global food systems through sustainable innovation. With a First-Class Honors Degree in Design Management from the London College of Communication, she combines her academic background with over five years of experience across fashion, sustainability, and strategic communications.

Previously, Stella held key roles at luxury fashion brands such as GIVENCHY and What Goes Around Comes Around, where she specialized in strategic communications, event management, and building industry partnerships. This experience honed her ability to create impactful strategies and manage high-profile events.

Her transition to the food industry was inspired by her time at Cucumbi Farms, a sustainable farm-to-table establishment in Portugal, where she deepened her commitment to sustainable food systems and agricultural practices, sparking her interest in applying design thinking to food security and sustainability.

At Food Future Co, Stella brings her expertise in systems and design thinking and business modeling, to support food companies tackling challenges such as food security and sustainability. Her dedication to food system transformation is reflected in her academic capstone project, "Securing the Plate: Ensuring Meat Security in a Post-Brexit Landscape," which analyzed vulnerabilities in the UK's meat supply chain and proposed strategies for resilience.

Complementing her academic work, Stella also holds certifications in Sustainable Food Systems: Concept & Framework from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and Transformation of the Global Food System from the University of Copenhagen, deepening her understanding of sustainable agriculture and food system transformation.
